- You must hire your own captain for your trip if you have no boating experience. We suggest using a service such as www.lotocaptain.com.
- (We are not associated/affiliated with lotocaptain.com or any of their captains for hire) if you hire a captain, it is your responsibility to see that they are a licensed certified captain through the Coast Guard with the proper credentials for taking out passengers for hire. We will ask to see their license if they cannot produce this when checking in, we will CANCEL rental. Please do your due diligence when hiring a captain to take out your passengers as there is liability involved when there is a captain for hire. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to go over this with you.
- We recommend for on lake navigation download: (LakeLocator) app for Lake of the Ozarks. This is a great water navigation app. It will show you the mile makers on water, restaurants, fuel docks, Cove Names, and tons of other features. Unfortunately, this app only works on iPhones and newer Android phones.
- All Renters must be 25 years and older to rent a boat. NO EXCEPTIONS
- All boat operators must have a minimum of 2 years of experience operating a boat. Our lake on weekends is very busy and the water is very rough due to the high boat traffic and no speed limit during the day. You must be able to safely navigate the rough waters and boat traffic on weekends and busy summer season. Weekdays can be calmer but during the height of summer July and August even then water can be difficult to navigate. Boating experience is a MUST.
- All of our boat rentals come with Lifejackets INCLUDED in rental price!!!
